Omg! my grade eight prom is this thrus and i dont no what to do with my hair.... up,down,or some up

what kind of dress and makeup.

most of the time people leave it down though.

for mines, i straightened my hair and keptti down

if you have a Audrey Hepburnish dress then wear your hair like she did

well i dont know ur dress but these hairstyles look good with pretty much every dress and makeup..

ok half up and half down with curls

-curl ur hair..i would suggest hot rollers. and if u have bangs leave them down..

-put half of ur hair up and leave the rest down and you will have long beautiful curls but leave ur bangs straight.

ok loose waves

-curl ur whole head accept for ur bangs if u have them..leave them straight.

-use hot rollers..they are great make sure they are not too big

but not too small.

Hair extensions[for a girl]???? please help!?

~how are they applied?

~how much do they cost?

~do they look good?

~can you do all kinds of activities in them [swim,dance,play sports,etc.]

~can you do all different stlyes with them [ponytial,bun,leave it down,prom hair,etc]

~are they easy to brush?

~do they get bad tangles

~can you striaghten and curl them?

~will they look fake?

~how to convince my mother i should get them

Get temp. ones- eg. the ones you clip in daily.. then you can do anything you want with them. If you buy expensive ones (eg. real hair) you wash and style them like normal hair. If cheap nylon ones, you cannot straighten or style them with heat products.. you can just wash them.

I say stick with you curly hair, since going straight may only make it frizzy. Plus, lots of girls want curly hair for prom, so you have one step closer to achieving great prom hair already. Here is a site that has some directions for what they call messy buns, which would be a good prom style

Alo, my experience, just play with your hair. I have created formal hair styles myself by just playing. I sometimes will put my hair in a ponytail, and take pieces of hair from it and wrap it around one direction and pin it, take another piece and wrap it around the other direction and pin it, and continue until all hair is pinned. Then I may loosen it by messing it up a bit, and it looks really cute, but takes practice.

here is a forum with some nice half up pics, but no directions, however, they look rather simple. They show with straight hair, but could look just as good with curly hair For the one, take a side of your hair, twist is and pin, then put a decorative flower or something else in.

A style I do when I am short on time, but looks good is I make my hair curly, mess my part up and have my bangs offcentered, so they go over my eye somewhat, then pull back hair on side without bangs and clip. Very simple!

for products, I suggest a good antifrizz serum, like John Frieda Frizz Ease if you think there is any chance of your hair getting frizzy. Or look for a shine enhancing product. Since your hair is curly, unless you want to straighten it, I think you should be ok on using regular hairspray and gels, etc.

I could tell you some ideas but they would be quite hard to explain...why don't you go to a Hair dresser? I am sure they can come up with a good fix!!!
