well if its at hairdressers they may wash it anyway! i recommend having "day old" hair as this isnt greasy, but makes the up do look better and hold its shape!

Yes, it will make the hair more pliable for the hairdresser. We call it dirty hair. That is product that you use helps the hair to stay in place better and will go were the stylist wants it too. It doesn't need to be dirty, you can wash it that morning and use the products in your hair with some hairspray will do the same thing.

i've done plenty of prom and wedding up-do's....i just suggest that if they wash their hair to make sure it is completely dry and put some mousse in it before their appointment....if it is too dirty and i have to wash and dry the hair it only makes the appointment longer and cost more...there is a time limit in doing updo's...so many people want them done so the time frame is a factor...so we suggest to the clients to be completely prepared for their appointment...
