i think you should definitely do that hairstyle for prom, so many girls do loose curls or straighten their hair, and that looks gorgeous and unique.

for make-up ideas, it depends on the dress, you can get some ideas from "aboywearingmakeup". he may be a boy, but the guy has some serious make-up skills, and even better he has step-by-step tutorials for all the looks so you can`t go wrong.
