Prom hairstyle? I have very thin, soft hair that drapes over my shoulders.?

My dress is spaghetti strap with a sweetheart neckline. It is very plain with only a few embroidered crystals on the straps. I was thinking a half-up, half-down do, but I am afraid that the half-up part will take all my hair and leave none for the down. I am also thinking about curling the bottom.

Ooo! How exciting! I love proms. I suggest a messy up-do as well. You'll want to show off the crystals on the straps since your dress is "plain" everywhere else. Add some hair jewels, a thin headband, a few small flowers, or one large flower to the up-do, and you'll look absolutely angelicm like a Girl-next-door-turned-romance-styled-mod... Often for the messy Greek-goddess up-do look, a few pieces of hair are either curled or made wavy with some pinned back and some hanging down.
