What would be a good hairstyle for prom for really long hair?

i think something very simple like either board straight (maybe teased at the bang and pulled back on top) because it will create a very dramatic look since your hair is so long or curly/scrunched beacuse it will shorten your hair some and make it easier to handle (and you wont have to go to the bathroom every hour to make sure its cooperating!!!)

I would deff. recommend going for a classy pulled back look away from your face, so it accentuates your face and gives you a chic look. Try something unique and different like a sleek ponytail with a diamond pennet for the ponytail holder to add a little flavor. Don't go for the typical prom style! Wearing a unique style will make you stand out. Or you can try a french twist, that is also very elegant. Stay away from curls and silly updo's.

pull the sides back and make tiny braids, braid or cross the braids in back to form a 'latice', put small 'jewels', beads (pearls, fakes) or flowers at the center of each crossed piece.

pull the sides of your hair back, roll and use pretty combs to anchor your hair in place.

I used to pull my hair back, tie it in a knot, wrap the ends around tuck them in and put really pretty chop sticks in my hair (to hold my hair in it's roll/knot) ( I collect chopsticks.) if you live where there are Asian stores, look for Asian hair picks...
